Ready For Birmingham's Day on the Town?

Here's what you need to know about this year's Day on the Town in Birmingham.

Saturday, the streets of downtown Birmingham will shut down to traffic for the annual citywide sidewalk sale known as Day on the Town. Dozens of downtown merchants will have their best items and deals on display from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., accompanied by live music, entertainment, food, and a display of classic cars.

“Birmingham is the place to be during Day On The Town. We anticipate large crowds during this action-packed event with activities from sun-up to sun-down,” said John Heiney, executive director of Birmingham’s Principal Shopping District.

Described as a 12-hour "power sale," merchants will offer deep discounts for serious shoppers while local musicians perform on four stages. See Five Musical Acts at Birmingham's Day on the Town.
