Attention 8th grade boys who might possibly be interested in playing soccer for Groves: You and your parents are invited to stop by an all-day soccer tournament on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Groves football/soccer stadium on the northwest corner of Evergreen and 13 mile. The Groves Soccer Boosters have a fun and useful gift for you. In addition, the coaches will hold a special meeting at 2:30 p.m. for 8th grade boys and their parents. Although there is an admissions charge for the tournament, which begins at 10 a.m. and ends around 5 p.m., just mention that you're an 8th grader and you and your parents will get in for free.
