Birmingham Preschools Continue Fall Registration

Have you signed your child up for preschool yet? Here's a look at some of the options in Birmingham.

If you're thinking about signing your child up for preschool this fall, here's a look at some of the options in Birmingham that are currently accepting registrations.

  • Birmingham Public Schools: Preschool registration for the 2013-14 school year is going on now at all Birmingham elementary schools, as well as Midvale Early Childhood Center and Wee Care (located at Groves High School), according to the school district's web site. Half-day and full-day programs are available. For more information, visit www.birmingham.k12.mi.us.
  • Our Shepherd Lutheran School: This Christian day school for children preschool through eighth grade is currently accepting new registrations, according to their recent post on Patch. The school is hosting an open house from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 17. Find more information here.
  • St. James Preschool: This preschool, located at 355 West Maple in downtown Birmingham, has open fall enrollment for Mom & Me, 3s, 4s, Kindergarten Readiness and Young Fives programs. For more information, call 248-644-0820 ext. 7103.
