Still Time to Give Feedback on Birmingham Multi-Modal Transportation Plan Draft

Birmingham residents have until June 28 to share their feedback about the city’s Multi-Modal Transportation Plan.

The plan will be used by the city to improve and expand opportunities for pedestrians, bicycles and transit users to respond to the growing demand for alternative forms of travel and to promote safe and comfortable transportation options, according to a post on the city's web site.

A draft of the plan, appendix, network map and downtown map are available to the public for review at http://greenwaycollab.com/Projects/Birmingham/BMMTP.html.

Comments will be reviewed and addressed at 7:30 p.m. July 10 at a public hearing at Birmingham City Hall. You can find more information here.
