Two Men Run Off With Stolen iPhone Covers from Radio Shack

The men entered the store last Friday morning, grabbed three iPhone covers and ran, police reports state.

Police are on the lookout for two suspects after they allegedly stole three cell phone covers from the Birmingham Radio Shack last Friday.

According to Birmingham Police, the two men entered the Woodward Avenue store around 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1. Reports state the men grabbed three cell phone covers — a Galaxy 3 iPhone cover and two Otter Defender iPhone covers — and ran out of the store.

The store owner told police he watched the incident happen and described the two men as medium-built, both approximately 25 years old. One was wearing a heavy green winter jacket, he said, while the other was wearing a puffy, black, waist-length winter jacket and a knit cap.

The pair drove off in a black "jeep-style" SUV, police say. According to police reports, the license plate may include BYG 683.
