May 1st is Law Day

May 1st is recognized nationally as Law Day. See what local community events are happening this month in Oakland County.

May 1st is deemed Law Day nationally.  Have you ever attended an “ask the lawyer” event? Sometimes local senior centers, court houses, or schools will invite attorneys in to answer legal questions from the community.

I recently joined the Solo/Small Firm General Practice Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and we are planning an Annual Law Day, starting May 1, 2014. It will be at the Community House in Birmingham and is FREE and open to the public. Lawyers in different practice areas will be available to answer your questions. Details will be provided closer to the event.
