The Community House will host a gala honoring Farmington Hills-based businessman David Trott, president and CEO of Trott & Trott, P.C., as well as vice chairman of The Community House board of directors.
The evening will include keynote speaker Allan Gilmore, president of Wayne State University and former CFO and vice chairman of Ford Motor Company.
The black tie optional events begins at 5:30 p.m. with a VIP reception for gala sponsors. At 6 p.m., a chamber music ensemble from the Detroit Symphony Youth Orchestra will open the evening, followed by dinner and dancing.
Proceeds from the event benefit outreach programs of The Community House, including all arts and culture programs, as well as the iCount/KidsCount lifestyle program. This program is currently offered to Detroit nonprofits such as The Children’s Center, The Development Center; C, Matrix Human Services (Headstart), and Horizon’s Upward Bound.
