Birmingham/Bloomfield CROP Walk

Church World Service will be holding its annual CROP Walk in Birmingham this year, a walk held every year for the past 30 years.

The group will partner with the First United Methodist Church of Birmingham. There will be three routes of varying length, including a one and a half-mile walk, three-mile walk and a five-mile tour.

All routes will end at the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham.

The event is expected to raise $35,000 for Church World Service. During the past 20 years, CROP walks in communities across the county have raised more than $264 million to assist those struggling to feed their families.
