The
Community House (TCH), 380 South Bates Street, Birmingham, will host the
annual Winter Holiday Gift Show, November 15 and 16,9:30am-6:00pm with a special Preview Party on November 14, 6:00-9:00pm. General admission to the show is on November 15 and 16 is $7; admission is $45 for the Preview Party. Sponsors for the Winter Holiday Gift Show include The
Surnow Company, Kathy Broock Ballard, Birmingham Eccentric and HOUR
Magazine. TCH asks that people bring an unwrapped gift to distribute to
TCH nonprofit agencies for at risk children.
The Community House will be decked out with unique gift items for everyone on your shopping list. This year’s show offers 50 unique vendors. Shelly
Lanesky, Chair of the 2013 Winter Holiday Gift Show, commented on the wide
variety of vendors exhibiting at this year’s show. “We
have gift vendors who will feature everything from one
of a kind jewelry, florals, boutique clothing, specialty foods, soaps,
children’s books, toys, unique Christmas ornaments and more! You can find
the perfect hostess gift, a stocking stuffer for your child, a gift for your
best friend and of course, maybe even a little something for yourself!”
Winter Holiday Gift Show attendees can make a day of it by visiting the show and enjoying lunch at the Winter Holiday Gift Show Café. The Café will
feature gourmet sandwiches, salads, soups and a variety of desserts, for
purchase. Now in its fifth year, The Community House will also host a Winter Holiday Gift Show Preview
Party on Thursday evening, November 14, 6-9 pm. The Preview Party, will be a fun night of fabulous shopping, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, giving everyone an opportunity to get a jump on their holiday shopping while enjoying an evening out with good
friends. Co-chairs of the Preview Party are Diana Day, Betsy LaBoe and
Ellen Shuster. Admission to Thursday night’s
Preview Party is $45 per person. Preview Party tickets also include entry into the show on Nov 15 and 16.
