Henna - Indian Floral & Paisley - Hands On Class

Many cultures around the world use this beautiful and intricate form of body art to adorn and decorate their bodies.  Traditionally used for weddings, spiritual practices, festivals and special occasions henna is now a fun and exciting way to express yourself in a lovely and non-permanent way.  This introductory course will introduce the traditions, preparation, purposes and application techniques of Henna and the art of Mehndi. The best part is that everyone will go home with a henna tattoo of their own to show off! A $15 materials fee payable to instructor.

Jessica Conti is a professional henna artist who has been in practice in the Detroit Metro area for 7 years.  She provides Henna for art festivals, cultural celebrations, weddings, henna parties, special events and much more.
