The College Admissions Process: What Parents Need to Know

Dr. Patrick O’Connor, a local author and expert in college counseling, will give a talk entitled “The College Admissions Process - What Parents Need to Know,” from 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Baldwin Public Library.


Sponsored by BBFA (Building Better Families through Action), O’Connor’s presentation is the first in a series of four workshops on parenting teens to be offered this month and next.


Registration costs $15 in advance at www.bbfaprevention.org, or $20 at the door. For $50, participants can sign up for all four sessions.

A college counselor since 1984, O’Connor currently serves as the Associate Dean of College Counseling at Cranbrook Schools.  His book is entitled “College is Yours.”
