Pumps and Predilections: The Recent Works of Topher Crowder

The Birmingham Gallery is pleased to present for the month November “Pumps and Predilections: The Recent Works of Topher Crowder”.  An opening reception is planned for Friday November 2, 2012 from 7-10pm.

Topher Crowder is a Michigan artist who has been called a gifted illustrator and a comic expressionist.  Topher refers to his paintings as storytelling through images.  He finds inspiration in Saturday morning cartoons and comic books of the late 1960’s and 1970’s.  He has captured a collection of his daily emotions and cryptic memories from his childhood in his paintings.

Crowder’s work has exhibited and collected extensively throughout Metro Detroit.
