We are excited to announce that The Global Gift Shop a non profit  Fair trade Shop that has been operating out of the church for over 20 years has opened its doors for retail hours during the holiday season.

The Global Gift Shop a mission of the church is staffed by volunteers. Items for sale are made by women and children living in poverty.

Opportunity is provided for artisans and farmers to get goods to a world wide marketplace in order that they may become self-sufficient. Items include small gifts, jewelry, coffee, chocolate, table linens, scarves, Christmas items, vases, creches, children’s items and more.

Individuals work in sheltered workshops, co-operatives, and small groups to produce and bring to market assorted goods that allow them to become independent. All money is returned to the producers in an effort to help eradicate poverty. Schools, hospitals and wells for clean water have been built and communities have been strengthened.

We work with SERRV a non profit organization that has been working with the poor worldwide for more than 60 years. All items are made under Fair Trade guidelines that include providing a living wage, community investment, safe working conditions, women and children’s rights, and earth stewardship.
