Weekend Weather: Sunny, Cool Weekend for Baseball Ahead

Temperatures Saturday and Sunday are expected to hover around 50 degrees under partly sunny skies.

If you're planning to watch the Tigers face the Giants in games three and four of the World Series this weekend, the skies should be friendly but bring a warm jacket.

According to the National Weather Service, the weather in Birmingham and Metro Detroit Saturday will be partly sunny, with a high near 50 degrees.

Saturday night, however, turn on the heat: temperatures will dip to a frosty 34 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.

On Sunday, the high will be 48 degrees under partly sunny skies. The wind is expected to blow between 13 and 15 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 23 miles per hour. Temperatures are expected to dip down to 35 degrees overnight Sunday.

Looking ahead to the Monday morning commute, the skies will be partly sunny during the day, with a high near 44 degrees. However watch out: temperatures are expected to reach 33 degrees overnight Monday and there's a chance of — you guessed it — snow.
