  • Why Go: The latest installment of Roeper's Diversity/Amnesty Film Festival features the 2010 historical documentary Freedom Riders. Produced for the PBS American Experience and based on the book Freedom Riders: 1961 and the Struggle for Racial Justice, the film chronicles the civil rights activists who fought racial segregation on American buses and trains in the early 20th century.
