Viewfinder: Birmingham's Pumpkin Patch and Halloween Parade

Hundreds of children, many dressed in full costumes, joined the festivities Sunday.

Pac-Man, a scarecrow, Princess Leia and more were in the crowd on Sunday for the 18th annual , followed by the Halloween Parade in downtown Birmingham.

The and the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce organized the Pumpkin Patch festivities, which offered children of all ages an opportunity to show off their costumes, grab some snacks and play a variety of games. Many of the activities took place on West Merrill Street, right outside .

Hundreds of families walked in the Halloween Parade, which started at the corner of South Bates Street and Martin Street, and snaked through downtown before ending in .
