- Why Go: This Sunday, families can take a different kind of journey through the galleries of the Cranbrook Art Museum — journeys just for kids! Tours include exhibits like "From Here to There: Alec Soth's America" and "Soo Sunny Park: Vapor Slide." Tours are designed for pre-K through pre-teens. Young people must be accompanied by an adult.
Sale: Vintage Tea and Jewelry Sale

- Where: The Community House
- Cost: $40 to attend the tea; $5 to attend the sale
- Why Go: Enjoy an afternoon of music, tea and shopping during The Community House's Vintage Tea and Jewelry Sale. A full tea — including coffee, fruit, tea, tea sandwiches and desserts — will be served alongside the music of pianist Penny Marourus, who will perform a selection of romantic tunes from the Great American Songbook. At the same time, peruse and buy vintage jewelry created by local artisans.
Family: Winter Fest

- Where: Bowers School Farm (1219 E. Square Lake Rd., Bloomfield Hills)
- Cost: $3
- Why Go: Don't let the winter get you down — enjoy it! The Bowers School Farm in Bloomfield Hills will be hosting a Winter Fest this weekend, complete with lessons about farming, a snowman train, a farm tour, s'mores and more. Concessions will be open and there will be a nominal charge for some activities.
Music: Classical Brunch

- Where: The Community House
- Cost: $25
- Why Go: Yoonshin Song, the new concertmaster for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, will be performing with Detroit-area pianist Pauline Martin during this week's installment of the Classical Brunch series. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with the performance beginning at 12:15 p.m.
Jobs: Seasonal Job Fair
