Misspelled profanity was found on the the front doors of a Bloomfiel Hills middle school this week while two homes were reportedly broken into on Sandalwood and Cranbrook Cross Road.

More than enough evidence was found in the basement of 55-year-old missing Troy cyclist Patrick Joseph Mikes' home for investigators to believe Mikes could not have survived the attack, Troy Police say.

ROYAL OAK:

According to police, officers were advised that the man had fired a single shot at his girlfriend’s son in Oak Park, later fleeing the scene with a .38 caliber handgun. Royal Oak officers surrounded the man’s home and he eventually surrendered to the officers.
