Get Out: Network While You Bowl, Book A Photo Session for Your Pet

   When: 6 p.m. Friday
   Why go: 's Uptown Group will meet for some Glow Bowling and networking. The Uptown Group is made up of young professionals who try to advance the principles of The Community House.

   When: 2 p.m. Saturday
   Why Go: Elmo wants his friends there to celebrate his third birthday. There will be special crafts, stories and music themed for everyone's favorite furry red friend.

   Where: in Clawson
   When: 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday
   Why Go: Leon & Lulu's invites all for its Spring Artists Market, featuring local artists and craftspeople. There will also be art to view and purchase, including: home accessories, fiber art, wall art, jewelry and more.

   Where: in West Bloomfield
   When: 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday
   Why Go: Participants will learn the fundamentals of shooting a pistol with live fire exercises, how to control violent confrontations, basic firearm safety, and the law that goes with it. The instructors are experts and full time officers. You will get a chance to receive your CCW certification from this class and the day includes a pizza lunch.

   When: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. through Saturday
   Why Go: Seeger People Photography is blocking out four days to help the Michigan Human Society. In return for a $20 donation to the Michigan Human Society, you recieve a 15-minute photo session of you and your pet (or just your pet if you're camera shy) and a free 5x7 photograph.
