Why Go: Dance City is offering a four-week salsa class starting this evening. Participants will learn basic steps and techniques while being introduced to the music and patterns of salsa dancing.

Why Go: The Birmingham 8 will be debuting Carmen in 3D, a new production of one of the world's most popular operas. A production of RealD and London's Royal Opera House, Carmen will only be coming to select RealD 3D Theaters across the country.

Why Go: Find out if that antique is worth as much as you suspect at this upcoming BASCC fundraiser. Gary Wachler from , antique dealer Joe DelGiudice of DelGuidice Antiques and Estate Jewelry, and diamond and gem expert Brian Sanders will be at BASCC to appraise your items. They will appraise for purchase: jewelry, silver, gold, diamonds, antiques, artworks, memorabilia, furniture and everything in between.
