Fuel Report: Lowest Birmingham Gas Price $3.85 Monday

Gas prices are holding steady across Metro Detroit, though some prices you'll find in Birmingham are happily below the regional average of $3.92.

According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $3.92 this morning, over 10 cents cheaper than one week ago.

Some of the lowest gas prices in and around southeastern Michigan can be found in Clawson where gas is $3.59 at the BP station on Maple Road.

In Birmingham, meanwhile, the cheapest gas you're going to find comes in under the regional average. However watch out: gas prices are reported to have hit $4.09 at the Mobil near 14 Mile and Pierce.
