Fuel Report: Lowest Area Prices $4.09 Monday Morning
Regional averages fall by 2 cents Monday morning.
Gas prices are falling, but not by much.
According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Metro Detroit is $4.07 Monday morning, down from $4.09 a week ago. This is up from $2.83 at this time last year.
The lowest prices in southwestern Michigan this morning are $3.90 and $3.92 in Mount Morris. Gas is also hitting $3.92 in Westland. In and around Birmingham Monday morning, the cheapest gas price was only $4.09.
