Fuel Report: Area Gas Prices Reach $3.79 a Gallon

It's a hot one out there, with while Oakland County remains under a severe thunderstorm watch until 2 p.m.
Meanwhile gas prices around Metro Detroit, according to AAA, are beginning to creep upwards again. The AAA reports that the average price for a gallon of gas is $3.79 Monday, up from $3.78 a week ago.
In and around Metro Detroit on Monday morning, the cheapest gas can be found in Lake Orion, at $3.41 a gallon, followed by Waterford, at $3.56 a gallon.
