5 Things to Know This Week: Rummage Sale, Pink Fund Fundraiser and More
Here's what you need to know about Birmingham this week.
1. The Presbyterian Women of the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham will be holding their annual fall rummage sale Oct. 9-10. Munch on some delicious food while digging up some great finds.
2. Check out the free Birmingham Kettlebell Club at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at 2337 Cole Street. Led by Fuzz Athletics, the instruction is free but you must bring your own equipment.
3. Patty Duke will make an appearance at the Townsend Hotel on Thursday. The event is free.

4. The Birmingham Gallery will present a special exhibition titled "Organic Roots" on Friday. During the month of October, the Birmingham Gallery will be donating 10% of all framing sales to the Pink Fund, a non-profit organization that assists breast cancer patients with short-term financial aid.
5. The Michigan Ceramics Biennial Competition Reception and Awards Ceremony will take place at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center from 6-8 p.m. on Friday.
