Robot Garage Celebrates First Birthday Friday

The Rail District shop will have free drop-in sessions available all day while food will be provided by Treat Dreams and Motor City Franks.

  • Why Go: The Robot Garage is celebrating its first birthday this Friday, and they have a day full of activities lined up for the whole family. Drop in to check out and play with an array of Legos, Duplo and other building materials. Live demonstrations include robotics demonstrations, hands-on “Sumo” robot competitions and a community Lego mosaic. Ferndale's Treat Dreams as well as Motor City Franks will be on site providing the food while parents will have an opportunity preview the Robot Garage's new summer camps.

    “This first year has been incredible. The community at-large has supported the Robot Garage in so many ways. We have our economic challenges in Michigan but there could be no better place to start a new business like this," said owner Sarah Jacobs.
