According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $3.41 this morning, down from $3.48 a week ago.
The lowest gas prices in Metro Detroit this morning can be found in Eastpointe, Sterling Heights, Inkster and Warren, where gas is $3.21 a gallon at a variety of gas stations.
Meanwhile, in and around Birmingham Monday morning, the cheapest gas you're going to find is $3.39 a gallon at the Citgo and Speedway stations on Woodward — a few cents below the AAA average for the region.
