Launched in and followed by , Chen Chow partners with a local, regional or national figure each month to feature a signature sushi roll in support of their charity of choice.

Throughout January, nearly 30 percent of the proceeds from the sale of each $14 Barron Meade's Auto Show Maki will be donated to the Meade Pediatric Hematology Oncology Center at St. John Providence Health System.

"Detroit has such a rich automotive history," Meade said. "The auto show is truly an institution and I loved the idea that the restaurant was looking to tie that history and the excitement of show season into such a great program designed to benefit great causes."

Meade's maki roll is inspired by four major auto shows around the world: the Tokyo Motor Show, the Detroit show, Auto Shanghai and the Paris Motor Show. Inside the roll, Chen Chow executive chef Benjamin Meyer included tempura free-range chicken breast with cream cheese and cucumber. The roll is drizzled with a hoison buerre rouge and topped with candied ginger.

The Barron Meade's Auto Show Maki will available throughout the month of January.
