Support the Birmingham Concert Band at a Special Concert Sunday

The event will mark the beginning of the BCB's 35th Anniversary Season.

Our pick for today: Birmingham Concert Band: Rhapsodic Celebration

  • Where: St. John Lutheran Church (23225 Gill Rd. in Farmington Hills)
  • Cost: Free
  • Why Go: The musical presentation will officially kick off the Birmingham Concert Band's 35th Anniversary Season. Filled with "melodic inspiration and rhythmic invention", the Rhapsodic Celebration will feature performances of Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” featuring pianist Wesley Fishwick, a “Rhapsody for Euphonium” performed by Mike Fisher, as well as Holst’s, “A Somerset Rhapsody”.
