The Fifth Witness by Michael Connelly

Connelly’s newest novel sees the return of attorney Mickey Haller (after The Lincoln Lawyer), who has expanded his practice to include foreclosure defense. His first client is Lisa Trammel, who is soon arrested when a mortgage banker working on her foreclosure is found murdered in the bank’s parking lot. Haller, meanwhile, must work to prove the innocence of his new client.

Phantom Evil by Heather Graham

Jackson Crow, who used to work for the federal government’s Behavioral Sciences Unit, is now heading a covert government team charged with investigating paranormal activity. In New Orleans, a popular senator’s wife falls to her death in a mansion. Some believe she has committed suicide, and others suspect foul play. Crow, along with police officer Angela Hawkins, begins to investigate the mysterious death.

Treason at Lisson Grove by Anne Perry

Treason at Lisson Grove begins with Special Branch Officer Thomas Pitt racing to meet an informant in London, who is supposed to give him details on an impending plot against the British government. Pitt arrives moments too late, finding the informant murdered and the killer fleeing. While Pitt pursues the murderer to France, his wife Charlotte has been tapped to clear the name of Thomas’ supervisor Victor Narraway, who has been accused of embezzling government funds.

Dead By Midnight by Carolyn Hart

In Dead By Midnight, Annie Darling, the proprietor of the Death On Demand mystery bookstore, remains convinced that the death of an employee is not a suicide, as everyone believes. With the help of her private investigator husband Max, Annie starts to unravel the mysterious life and death of her former employee.

Little Fockers (DVD)

Following Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers, Little Fockers sees the return of ex-CIA agent Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro) and his son-in-law Greg Focker (Ben Stiller). Focker, now the parent of twins, must prove to his father-in-law that he has what it takes to live up to his expectations.
