As part of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's AVANTI Summer MusicFest — a week-long workshop for Metro Detroit's young musicians — the Musicians of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will be performing two concerts in Birmingham this week.
On Thursday, July 19, the MDSO will perform chamber works by Mozart, Barber and Hanson.
On Friday, July 20, the MDSO will perform orchestral works by Copland, Beethoven and Mozart.
