Brunch is followed by a chamber music performance featuring three Detroit Symphony Orchestra musicians:
- Kimberly Kaloyanides Kennedy on violin
- James Van Valkenburg on viola
- Robert deMaine on cello.
Kennedy, 35, joined the orchestra in 1998 and is now associate concertmaster. She has played as a soloist with many orchestras and has won competitions around the nation.
DeMaine, a fourth-generation string player who lives in Grosse Pointe Farms, joined the symphony in 2002.
