The BBSO joins forces with a number of young, talented, local musicians for a concert of works to put you in the holiday mood! Conductor Charles Greenwell and the BBSO musicians lead off the festivities with a variety of magical works for the season. The Andover High School Strings will then play side-by-side with BBSO musicians for Jean Sibelius’ “Andante Festivo,” and the winner of our 2012 Young Artist Competition, Bloomfield Hills’ violinist Haeji Kim, will delight as the soloist in the final movement of Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 2.
