16th Annual Birmingham Bloomfield Cultural Arts Awards

The Cultural Arts award will be presented to Maury Okun for his being a "visionary in the arts" and his ability to bring organizations together to share tight resources. 

Adelman will receive a Special Lifetime Achievement Award honoring her indefatigable support and volunteer efforts in the arts, and the huge imprint she has left on members of every age and circumstance in our community.

The Birmingham Bloomfield Cultural Arts Awards will be presented during the opening reception for the Annual Exhibition of Birmingham Society of Women Painters at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center on Friday, Sept 9, 2011, from 6-8:00 p.m.
