2014 Kidpreneur Summer Tech Camps

Summer is a time for family vacations, playing 'til dusk and going to camps. It's also an opportunity for kids to explore things that could lead to lifelong interest and ambition. At Kidpreneur, we want your little techies to get exposure to coding and everything related to computer technology. Not only because we want to create the next generation of job creators, but to help kids discover their passion in technology. So we are offering camps in Minecraft, Java, Python, Web Design, LEGO® robotics and much more. Our goal is to provide a quality education in a fun environment.

Why should you send your child(ren) to Kidpreneur?
Since last August, we've taught over 600 hours to more than 150 kids and wrote over 10,000 lines of code. In addition, we've been a recipient of the D:Hive PILOT program in Detroit, appeared on WDIV-TV Channel 4's Live In The D and Metro Parent magazine. We continue to grow with more classes and workshop with top notch instructors who care about your child's future.

What camps do Kidpreneur have this summer?
There are summer camps for kids ages 7-9 (3 hrs/day) and ages 10-13 (6 hrs/day). Parents can customize the camps to last from 1 week to 3 weeks. The camp sizes are small so that every child can get the attention needed to learn and explore. We treat the kids like they are our own so we make sure they are in a safe and comfortable environment. There are the occasional gaming competitions with our camp instructors as well.

What should the campers bring to camp?
Kidpreneur requires that kids bring their own PC/Mac laptop so they can take their project home. If they register for the 6 hr/day camps, please pack them a lunch. There will be 10 minute brakes throughout the camps and a 30 minute lunch period. If your child is registered for any of the Minecraft camps, please make sure they have a PC/Mac computer account (NOT an iPad/tablet/Xbox account). Most of the coding camps do require prerequisite camps.
