The Brother Rice fans react to Devin Church's first touchdown, which put the team up 7-0 over Lowell in the first quarter on Friday at Ford Field.

DETROIT – Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice got off to a blistering start against Lowell in the Division state championship game at Ford Field, and never really let up.

In the end, it was the Warriors on top, 24-14, and taking home the trophy.

On the way to the team's first state title since 2005, Devin Church had three touchdowns and smashed the single-game yardage record for the school.

Earlier in the day, @devinchurch tweeted: Biggest game of my life is today at 1..whish me luck..this probably my last tweet until after the game.

Here is the day in photos. We'll have plenty more, so check back later.
