Thanksgiving Holiday Feasts in Birmingham Schools
Students in the Birmingham Public Schools made the most of Thanksgiving feasts this week.
Thanksgiving meant feasts for students in many Birmingham-area schools this week. At Berkshire Middle School, students in the English as a Second Language program gathered with staff to celebrate Thanksgiving early during a classroom feast. Students brought in a dish from their home country to share with their classmates as part of a lesson on the “traditional” Thanksgiving.
