Larcenies Reported; Woman Cited for Public Urination at the Peabody

The Birmingham Police Department provided the following information. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction.



Officers with the Birmingham Police Department cited a woman for urinating outside the Peabody restaurant last week, police reports said. An officer spotted the woman urinating in the alley between the restaurant and Old Woodward Avenue at abut 2:30 a.m. on June 15. 

The woman was released with the ticket and has a hearing pending in 48th District Court. 

Tires slashed
A resident in the 1000 block of Chapin reported that someone slashed multiple tires on vehicles parked outside the home. The resident discovered the damage to two vehicles at about 8:30 a.m. on June 15. One of the vehicles was in the driveway and the other was parked in the street. No suspect information was available. 

Larcenies

  • A resident in the 1600 block of Northlawn reported that a blue Trek mountain bike, and Callaway golf bag & clubs, and a red Toro snow blower were all taken from the garage sometime on June 16. The garage was locked, but police found pry marks by an exterior door, reports said. 
  • A Beverly Hills resident reported his bike was recently stolen from Booth Park. The 13-year-old boy told police he left the bike on the gravel near the sidewalk at about 6:30 p.m. on June 13. It was gone when he returned at 7 p.m. No suspect information was available.
