Time to Thank Your Neighbor, Birmingham!
Who's making a difference in your neighborhood?
The holiday season is long gone, but there's still plenty of good cheer, and good will to go around apparently.
Ever since Sunday's massive snow storm dumped several of inches of snow around the area Patch editors around the region have been hearing about random acts of kindness and neighbors helping out neighbors in big and small ways.
Birmingham Patch reader Suzanne Shields summed it up this way in a recent post:
" . . . the side walk is clear and walkable on both sides - my next door neighbor shoveled his butt off keeping me clear - including driveway - another neighbor has a big blower and she went up and down both sides - helping everyone - THAT IS WHAT A NEIGHBORHOOD IS."
Which got us thinking, do you have a neighbor that deserves a little recognition for what they've done in recent days, or for just making the neighborhood a better place to be?
