Joe Bauman, Neighbor

Joe was appointed President of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber in June 2010. He manages a staff of three and supports the entrepreneurial spirit of nearly 700 member businesses from the greater Birmingham Bloomfield community.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Joe served a short stint with United States Investigative Services as a contract Investigator for the Department of Homeland Security after leaving the Observer & Eccentric Newspaper chain in June 2009 where he served for 20 years as a reporter, editor and assistant managing editor.  In 2000, he was named Managing Editor of the Eccentric Newspaper Group.
