Overnight Snow Closes Birmingham Public Schools Friday
The snow is expected to continue to fall until 10 a.m. Friday, the National Weather Service says.
For many students in Birmingham, it's going to be a three day weekend. After a night of snow that began soon after midnight, Birmingham Public Schools has closed for the day. Officials from Birmingham Schools made the decision to close a little before 5 a.m. Friday. Also closed Friday is: Nearby, the following schools are closed: While the Detroit Country Day Upper School has closed for the day, the school's lower, junior and middle school campuses will still have a day of parent-teacher conferences unless individually rescheduled with a teacher.
