Pac-Man, a scarecrow, Princess Leia and more were in the crowd on Sunday for the 18th annual Pumpkin Patch event, followed by the Halloween Parade in downtown Birmingham. The Junior League of Birmingham and the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce organized the Pumpkin Patch festivities, which offered children of all ages an opportunity to show off their costumes, grab some snacks and play a variety of games. Many of the activities took place on West Merrill Street, right outside The Community House. The Junior League of Birmingham's 18th annual Pumpkin Patch happens this weekend on the terrace of The Community House, bringing Halloween early to downtown Birmingham. The day includes bounce houses, crafting, photo session and games for children, not to mention a children's parade of Halloween costumes at 4 p.m., sponsored by the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce.
