Feature Photo: Preschoolers, Seniors Team Up With Project Warmth
Preschool's from the district's Early Childhood Center paired up with area seniors to collect more than 300 mittens and scarves for Lighthouse of Oakland County.
Seniors from Birmingham Area Seniors Coordinating Council and Center (BASCC) teamed up with the Birmingham Public Schools' Midvale Early Childhood Center (ECC) to collect hats, scarves and mittens for Lighthouse of Oakland County. Project Warmth collected over 300 items to help keep those in need a little warmer this winter. Pictured are members of the BASCC knitting group along with ECC teachers and preschool students.
