What's Open and Closed This Presidents Day
Did you know Monday's a holiday? Make sure you know what's open or closed around town beforehand.
Monday is Presidents Day: a day to remember and honor our leaders and, if you're lucky or a student, enjoy a little time off. Luckily, many city offices are still open, including: All state and federal offices, however, will be closed on Monday, including the U.S. Post Office on Bowers Street. Trash collection, however, will not be impacted by the holiday; Birmingham residents will have their waste picked up on their regularly scheduled day this week. Most local banks are also closed for the holiday, including the Birmingham Bloomfield Credit Union, First Place Bank, Bank of America, Paramount Bank, Bank of Birmingham, mBank, Flagstar Bank, Chase Bank and Comerica Bank.
