Is Anyone Missing This Dog?
Birmingham resident Barb Mossner likes her new adopted dog, but wonders about his original owner.
Birmingham resident Barb Mossner recently posted a photo of her newly-adopted rescue dog in the Birmingham Patch Pics & Clips gallery, but not just to mark the special occassion — she genuinely hopes to find the animal's previous owner. Mossner adopted the dog from Almost Home Animal Shelter in Southfield last weekend, and would like to have a new companion for her aging dog at home. But she said something about how well-behaved, groomed and acclamated the dog is makes her feel like someone out there is missing him. "He's housebroken, friendly, and isn't scared of any of his surroundings, and I just can't believe no one is looking for this dog," she said. "If I lost my dog, I'd be beside myself. But I just can't find anyone looking for him…

sorry, I didn't read the whole story, obviously you are not assuming his owners are not looking. If you don't find them, it sounds like he has a good home anyway : ) more ›
