$2,400 Bike Taken From KLM Bike and Fitness During Break-In
Officers responded to an alarm at the Woodward Avenue bike shop around 2 a.m. Saturday.
Birmingham Police are investigating after a $2,400 bicycle was reported stolen from KLM Bike and Fitness. According to police reports, the incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. last Saturday at the bicycle shop at 33502 Woodward Ave. Officers responded to a breaking-and-entering alarm at the shop. When police arrived, reports state they found the front door glass broken out. When a manager arrived, he told police a Giant TCR composite bicycle that had been sitting next to the front door was gone. Police continue to investigate.
