Suspect in Birmingham, Bloomfield Robberies Caught in Royal Oak
A 27-year-old Birmingham man arrested Saturday is suspected of being behind an alleged armed robbery at the Hungry Howie's on Woodward Avenue and two attempts earlier.
A 27-year-old Birmingham man has been arrested and police believe he may be behind a robbery at Hungry Howie's in Birmingham and two other attempts in Bloomfield Hills on Saturday night. The man was arrested around 8 p.m. Saturday in Royal Oak on drug charges, according to Birmingham Police Cmdr. Terry Kiernan. Police are investigating whether the man took $40 from Hungry Howie's earlier that evening, an incident in which the suspect indicated he had a weapon while rushing into the store and demanding employees open the register. According to police reports, Hungry Howie's employees reported that a man wearing a red fleece top and white bandana entered the store around 7 p.m. Saturday. It's obvious that Mike & Racer Boy have no clue how a reporters job is done. They can only report what is given to them. The police do not divulge these details therefore reporters cannot report them. Racerboy, again you are critical of someone (reporters) other than yourself.
