Flagstar Robbed; Police Say it Might be Tuesday Bank Bandit
Birmingham police say they're working with the FBI on the investigation, noting the suspect may be involved in recent bank robberies in Ferndale, Clinton Township and Birmingham.
Birmingham police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday morning at the Flagstar Bank at 35238 Woodward Ave. According to a release from the Birmingham Police Department, the robbery occurred around 9:35 a.m. The man is described as white, around 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans and a brown baseball hat. Police say no weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was injured. The man fled northbound on Woodward on foot, police say, and no vehicle was seen.
