Hunter House Turns 60, So Get Set for a Party with Hamburgers

Second-generation owner talks about upcoming film, growth idea and 'a fun way to make money.'

Hunter House, an icon marking its 60th anniversary, has been in Susan Cobb's family since 1981. Al and Martha Papazian, her parents, became the restaurant's third owners that year and she took over in 2005. At a corner table overlooking Woodward, we spoke recently with the West Bloomfield resident about continuity, celebrities and the ingredients of a successful family business.
