Sacred Garden Healing Center Brings the Dead Sea to Birmingham

The Sacred Garden Healing Arts Center celebrated its official ribbon-cutting at 2151 E. 14 Mile Rd. with the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber.

Step into the sea without traveling too far from home at Birmingham's newest wellness clinic, Sacred Garden Healing Arts Center. The center, owned by Charlene Wark and Lisa Machala, celebrated a ribbon-cutting with the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber at the end of February. Using hte age-old natural health phenomenon known as Dead Sea salt therapy, Sacred Garden helps its clients relieve many common respiratory and skin complaints. The center specializes in salt therapy (with its own salt room), cranio-sacral therapy, massage, reiki, pranic healing, detox programs and home health and wellness products. Dailey Method Raises the 'Barre' in Birmingham

The new studio, which combines ballet, core conditioning and stretching during a one-hour exercise routine, celebrated with a ribbon-cutting earlier this month.

Looking for a new workout alternative? The Dailey Method officially opened its doors on South Old Woodward earlier this month, celebrating with a ribbon-cutting with the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber. The spa-like studio is located in Birmingham Place and features a large fitness studio, on-site child care, shower facilities, free parking, and a wide variety of athletic and boutique inspired apparel.  The Dailey Method, itself, is a one-hour class combining ballet barre work, core conditioning, stretching, and orthopedic exercises. The classes effectively strengthen, tone, and lengthen the entire body providing quick physical results. The weather may be cold and grey, but it's all bright and colorful inside the newest Sherwin-Williams store in downtown Birmingham. The paint store recently celebrated its newest location in Michigan with a ribbon-cutting sponsored by the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber. The shop, located on the southern end of Old Woodward, is managed by Sarah Lorne. Eton Academy Alum Launches New PR Firm in Downtown Birmingham

Birmingham has a new public relations firm in town and it's run by a local graduate. There's Plenty of 'Fun Stuff' Happening at Adams Square

Fun Stuff, a gift shop that opened late last year at 725 S. Adams Rd., recently celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting with the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber.

Evidenced by the more than 80 people who turned up for some fun at the Grand Opening Ribbon-Cutting for Fun Stuff in Adams Square, the store delivers on its name. The tiny store is run by Chief Fun Officer, Denise Kulak, who first opened a shop in a pole barn in Frankfort after losing her job. The store specializes in gifts and novelties many under $20 all with a story or special significance which Kulak is willing to share, at no additional cost. Fun Stuff is located at 725 S.
