Birmingham Biggby to Host 89X Guest Barista for 'A Season of Goodwill'
Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit, 89x and Biggby Coffee locations across Metro Detroit are partnering for A Season of Goodwill.
Someone else will be pouring the coffee at Birmingham's Biggby Coffee on Wednesday, but it's all for a good cause. From noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Birmingham's Biggby Coffee will play host to guest barista 89X-FM's Sarah Eatherly, who will be serving up coffee and collecting donations for Goodwill Industries. The project is part of a partnership with 89X and Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit to collect new toys during the "Season of Goodwill" through Dec. 4. With any donation of a new, unwrapped toy at one of the 29 participating Biggby Coffee locations throughout Metro Detroit, including Birmingham, patrons will receive $1 off any grande or super specialty beverage.
